Singapore will play host to the Korea Republic on 6 June 2024 in the second round of their FIFA World Cup 2026 and AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ campaign.
According to the Football Association of Singapore (FAS), the National Stadium’s full 50,000 capacity will be opened, with 5,000 tickets allocated for away fans in ‘anticipation of the vociferous support for the Singapore players’.

Fans will be able to purchase tickets early on Thursday 2 May 2024 if they register on the Ticketek platform and get themselves on the pre-sale waitlist that opens today, Tuesday 30 April 2024, at 12:00pm.

Can the Lions roar?
This will be the final home match of the Lions’ World Cup qualifying campaign in the second round and also the second home match for Tsutomu Ogura, whose new-look Lions valiantly held China to a 2-2 draw in his first match in charge.

The likes of English Premier League stars such as Son Heung-min and Hwang Hee-chan are expected to feature as the Koreans look to secure the top spot in the qualifying group.
In the reverse fixture last November in Korea, the Lions held out for most of the first-half until striker Cho Gue-sung broke the deadlock in the 44th minute. The floodgates eventually opened in the second-half as the Red Devils went on to claim a 5-0 victory.
Ogura issues rallying call
“I hope our fans saw the fight that our team put up in both matches against China. Korea is a very tough challenge and one of the best teams in Asia. We will need a full capacity support of our fans to be our 12th man on the pitch, and give the Koreans a tough game,” said Ogura.
The Lions currently sit bottom of Group C with 1 draw and 3 losses. This round of 2026 FIFA World Cup AFC Qualifier, will also serve as the second round of 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualification
